Enchanted Kingdom 14 Years After

First stop was the FLYING FIESTA. I felt like flying (literally). I saw this machine in Lotte World last time when I went to Seoul but the only difference was...The ride in Lotte World like a TREE while this is like i-dont-know-what-to-call-it. (AND the machine in LW is [i'll be redundant] MORE SAFER).

Second was REALTO, we watched Happy Feet and I was not really happy about it. Walking in this part of the theme park felt like I was out of the Philippines. I felt like I was in somewhere else in the States BUT HOTTER.
This is my good friend, Dome.

My First time to ride a carousel

October 27, 2011 was definitely a day to remember because after 14 years I made it again to Enchanted Kingdom (EK). A piece of information to everyone who is reading this blessed blog, Enchanted Kingdom is a theme park in the Philippines, located at Sta. Rosa, Laguna (few hours away from Manila) and the theme park is celebrating its 16th anniversary this year.
I never hesitated to go with my highschool friends. They planned this EK thing for quite a while and they still don’t know WHEN this event will happen.  I saw the Event on Facebook while I was in Seoul, Korea and they’re still planning the date of the said event. I just suggested moving it on the 27th of October than 21st of October. I suggested a date because I will depart Korea by 21st (did you get my point?).
Seeing Enchanted Kingdom from afar made me frown because its colors were not that vibrant. It’s like food; if my food is pale I really lose my appetite. Comparing food to EK, the painting of the walls was pale. There were few trees.
I just forget everything about the park’s THEN and NOW but I just focus on my own happiness ^^
First stop was the FLYING FIESTA.
Second was REALTO, we watched Happy Feet and I was not really happy about it.
Third was the ANCHOR’S AWAY, which made my knees tremble.
We ate lunch.
Fourth was the RIO GRANDE RAPIDS (THE BEST!)
Fifth was UP UP and AWAY
Sixth was the GRAND CAROUSEL and it was my first time to rode a carousel!
Seventh was the SWAN LAKE (FUN!)
Last was FLYING FIESTA, again
Riding the van without aircon was fun if you have friends with you. The noisiness of your high school friends was really priceless.  I think this EK Event was one of the most memorable days in my life, this event was one of the best part of my sembreak. Thanks to my friends!

Note: SORRY FOR THE UNORGANIZED PICTURES! ^^ They got mixed up and don't even know what to do. Sorry ^^

Almost Paradise! (Boracay 2011)

(This photo was taken at Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3)

I am not the “beach” person but I am more of the girl, who loves the water in the swimming pool, which tastes like chlorine.

I don’t really like the beach because of the salty water. I know this is inappropriate but I really think it is quite inevitable to taste the sea water. I really can’t help it. I know we should not DRINK the salty water and the chlorine because they are not DRINKING WATERS.

Anyway, we took a plane from Manila to Kalibo, Aklan (Air Philippines). It took an hour; it’s like our travel time in Hong Kong and Macau.  I never knew that Kalibo was really FAR from Caticlan! We rode a shuttle bus by our travel agency and I sleep for about 3 hours, then we rode the boat to Boracay Island then rode their public transportation that looked like a jeepney but not exactly a jeepney. It was my first time to eat at Mang Inasal, and I don’t want to eat there again because I don’t really like roasted foods.

 RAINBOW!

After eating we roamed around Station 1. I did not have any swim wear so my mom bought me one.

Since I’m excited to see the sunrise I woke up earlier than the usual but unfortunately the sun rise up earlier than me.

Then we went island hopping. I really had fun because I saw the creatures under the sea. I was really impressed because God gave the Philippines a very beautiful place like Boracay! I fed the school of fish and they tickled me. I swam and saw the unexplainable beauty of the sea.

The sunset was the most beautiful thing I saw in my stay. The darkness ate the light. The sky went pinkish-orange. It was amazing!

I got my hair braided for 50 pesos :)

 (I can be a Sole Survivor ^^)

Before we go home, my mom and I had a henna tattoo.

Unforgettable! ^^ The sand was really like powder and the water is as clear as crystal.

P.S. Some products were quite expensive but you can really bargain with them, the store owners, for cheaper price. ^^

P.S. AGAIN :) I am quite lazy to type everything that happened because this trip was sooooo last month :) September 15-18 2011 :)
